June 17, 2009 Empty Weapons

Post  Phoenix Fri Jun 19, 2009 11:30 pm

Ok, weapons are the most important part. We have a slight weapon problem as everyone knows since we were all there. But just incase you didn't hear a bit of it. These are the listed weapons and their FPS.

Weapons:

Phoenix-VSR-10(425-450), Spring Desert Eagle(270)
Doc-MP7(250-290)
Bull-?????
Gunner-AK47(480)
Garrett-M590(325)

Now, as for Bull's none weapon situatuion. We were in the middle of discussing on what action should be taken place for this situation. We discussed on that we should place the team funds in and buy him a fairly cheap gun that is still good.

His main choice is wanting to get an M4 Carbine or buying a cheap off the wall MP5 off the wall wal*mart gun. Which is definately a "No No" due to this team. We must find Bull a gun soon.

Decision will be discussed at the next meeting. Stay tuned.

June 17, 2009 Empty Fields

Post  Phoenix Fri Jun 19, 2009 11:46 pm

Another important peice of information that we need is a home field. All teams have one and we need one too. We have a few suggestions that were thrown down. Two were mostly chosen as our fields.

Fields:

-Howell Park:

Howell Park has been our field for as long as I have been playing Airsoft. It is a very large place with perfect cover to play in. We played first in a section of it that was considered "No Man's Land" for a while. The place was nothing but open field with hills as bunkers or "Trenches" as we called them. Then we discovered another region that used for the rest of the time. It became the perfect playing field. Woods, Fields, and Tall Weeds for cover. Only draw back to the place was that it was a public place. Meaning that we have had the cops called on us several times.

Carnahans Woods:

This field was just recently suggested to us. From my understanding, these woods are owned by Doc's cousin Andrew Carnahan. He uses these woods for paintball, so there are already forts and bunkers set up. We were also told that construction was an option as long as we had the stuff, which is no problem. We'll check into this place more later.

Rodgers Field:

This is an old one. Way long time ago when the "Dons of Fate" were still our team that was a starter, we played in a cotton field that was behind his house. This was a good place to play at believe it or not. There were woods surrounding the field and the cotton plants were tall enough for cover. The only problem was that there was alot of thorns and the grounds weren't owned by Rodgers, but a woman who lived behind him. If we asked for permission to play and build in that area, not a bad suggestion.

June 17, 2009 Empty Signature Style

Post  Phoenix Fri Jun 19, 2009 11:51 pm

I have been doing some research and got and idea. I stumbled upon a handgun that we should use for our signature side-arm.

This is the link for the gun:
http://www.pyramidairsoft.com/ProductDetails1.aspx?productID=1794&referer=

A quick run down of the weapon:
This gun is a Jericho 941. It is a CO2 non-blow back. It shoots about 425 feet per second. The cost of this weapon is $57.95 without the S+H.

This weapon would be a perfect side arm to use as it is clearly a well balanced gun that is clearly cheap.
